I first of all want to thank Nicole and Brian, close family friends, for taking us with you to California, Universal Studios and to flying.
This Summer, Nicole and Brian invited us to go with them to California for a trip. We went to Universal Studios, which by the way was amazing! I actually like it better than Disneyland, I would definitely go back. We went on quite a few rides, captured some moments with our cameras and made memories. I was so excited to go to Harry Potter Land, I love the movies and plan on reading the books. It was so cool to see all the different shops they had there. I really liked the butter beer, it was delicious. One of my favorite parts was that we got to spend time together and I got to see all the joy in everyone’s eyes. It was truly a fun time at Universal Studios. I want to thank Uncle Michael for all he did for us and spending the day with us.
We also got to fly!! That was all thanks to Jim Churchman and his crew. You can go to facebook and his website to read fully what he is all about.. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheSmileHighClub/ Website: https://www.smilehighclubinc.com/ He helped us all fly like superheros.. His mission is to “make you fly like the superhero you already are, we can create smiles and memories that will last forever.” from his website. He put us on a belly board and made us fly, he also can hook you up in your wheelchair and can make you fly. It was so much fun and really put a smile on my face. For a child or anyone going through treatment this is a way to take your mind off your treatments and put a smile on your face. I think it was really cool because my brother was really hesitant at first but then Jim talked to him and got him to do it in the wheel chair. He was tense at first but he loosened up and enjoyed himself, each time he went faster and faster. I love what he is doing and I thank him for giving us this experience, I truly enjoyed myself. I hope guys go check them out and donate if you can.
We also got to go to the Santa Monica Pier! I have never been and it was so much fun. We rode lots of rides, took some pictures and had some snacks. I had a great time.
Hey guys! I wanted to tell you all about something my uncle is doing, it is called the Great Cycle Challenge. The Great Cycle Challenge is where you ride everyday for the month of June to fight Childhood Cancer. You can make a team or sign just yourself up. You set a goal for how many miles you want to achieve and how much money you want to raise. It is super cool! It is amazing that people are doing this!
My uncle has decided to do it. He posted on Facebook that he would be riding for me. I am so appreciative of him for doing this! I am so thankful for him doing this for me and other children who are fighting cancer. His goal is to ride 245 miles and raise $500. I am so proud of him for doing this challenge! You can do it Uncle David! God will give you the strength do this! “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
If God puts it on your heart to donate, please do. Below is the link to his page: https://greatcyclechallenge.com/Riders/DavidCunninghamJr?utm_source=dashboard&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=gcc_profile_ind_new_ride&fb_ref=Default
Today I got yet another comment on my amazing shoes, they were made by Peach’s Neet Feet.
I want to take a moment to honor and thank Madison and her Peach crew! You guys work everyday to bring smiles to kids and teens through amazing works of art on shoes. You hustle kindness everyday! I want to thank you all for all you do! You guys bring so much happiness and smiles to people! I love my shoes and they bring me such a great joy. I love talking about them and sharing how I got them. It is amazing that people put their heart and souls into such amazing soles (get it souls and soles of a shoe!)! I just want to just thank you again! I will always enjoy my shoes and when I grow out of them I will keep them and display them forever. You guys inspire me to hustle kindness and use my talent to bring smiles to other people. I love you guys and thank you again, a million times thank you!
Hey guys! I want to tell you about a great ideal I had! I noticed that my high school did something for Breast Cancer and also when Paris was attacked. I started to think, since September is Childhood Cancer month I would love for them to do something to support it.
My ideal is that everyone can wear fun, bright colored socks for the month in honor of the spirits of the kids fighting. Also to make a banner and hang it in the quad. Then I could make and sell cancer ribbon shaped chocolate (like my family and I did one year) and give the money raised to a cancer foundation. I really want to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the world! Not everyone understands what I and other kids and teens like me have and are going through in this battle. It would be great to raise awareness for something that means so much to me!! I want to use my testimony to tell people how great God is and give people incite on what I went through.
