I strongly dislike being in this electric wheelchair!!! All I want to do is walk! Many people take something as simple as walking for granted. I’m tired of being in this chair. I just want to walk around school, to the store, to the park etc. I want to get my strength back and walk. I am bound to this chair and I don’t like it. Due to the AVN caused by the steroids and Cancer treatments I can’t walk long distances. I don’t like being in a wheelchair. I want to walk anywhere and everywhere like everyone else. It is so simple, but so important to me. At almost 16 years old (In October) I feel like I shouldn’t have to deal with this.
Even though this post is short, thank you for letting me rant about how I feel.
My first week back to school was beyond amazing! Monday, August 29th I started my my first week of Sophmore year.
It started of a little rough, but that soon changed! My teachers are so amazing and want the best for me. I am so thankful to have teachers who push me and want the best for me.
This year I am taking Spanish 2 Honors, Sophmore Studies/Drivers Education, Fashion 2, Photography 1, Algebra 2, Chemistry Honors, World History, and English 10 (Pre-AP) Honors. I am so excited for this school year. I have been doing so much better health wise and will not have to miss school a lot, like I did year.
I am really looking forward to this year. My teachers seen really nice, helpful, and caring. I am looking forward to creating relationships with my teachers and making new friends. I am also ready to work hard and be dedicated to my work. Here is to the school year of 2016-2017.
